Asia Industry Internship Programme Thailand

No internship scholarships are planned for 2024.

Student internships in Thailand will provide Switzerland-based students from universities and universities of applied sciences with first-​hand work experience at the external pagesyngentacall_made branch in Thailand. Students from different disciplinary backgrounds can gain intercultural and practical work experience and become competent of working in and with an Asian business environment. In exchange, the students will provide syngenta with their particular knowledge and expertise, new ideas, time and interest to learn and work. The company shall profit from the intercultural exchange likewise.

The Leading House Asia offers 10 internships placements in Thailand in cooperation with the external pageSwiss Thai Chamber of Commercecall_made (STCC).

Scholarship

The LH Asia funds the internships with a monthly stipend and the roundtrip ticket to Thailand. syngenat covers for accommodation, local transportation tickets and meals during work week.

Eligibility

Bachelor or Master students from Swiss universities or universities of applied sciences; or recent graduates (no longer than 12 months since graduation at the time of application). For the 10 internship positions, students from the following fields of study are particularly invited to apply:

- Agronomy
- Chemistry
- Engineering
- Business Marketing
- Communications

Application Procedure

The Switzerland-​​based applicant must apply to ETH Zurich as the Leading House Asia. The submission of the application takes place in two compulsory steps:

1. Submission of the application details via the online application form .
2. Upload of requested appendices (CV, motivation letter, letter of reference, current academic transcript, enrolment confirmation from your university, any other supporting document(s)) in one single pdf document via the application form online.

Applicants interested in several positions have to apply to each internship position of interest separately following the 2-step application process.

Applications will undergo a first formal eligibility check by the Leading House Asia and selected candidates will be invited for interviews with syngenta.
