Grégory Stulz - Thailand
My main responsibility was to come up with solutions and help the team that had just released a new mobile app democratize it for Thai farmers. In order to provide them with the best advice possible, my work required extensive market and behavioural analysis, as well as communication with other teams from Pakistan to Singapore that had similar goals. The app was created to assist farmers in learning more about the numerous industry techniques, including the precise dates to plant particular produce varieties depending on the weather forecast and when and how to use the various items in our line.
I have had the good fortune to take part in several visits to farmers in their individual cities or villages.
Throughout the duration of my internship, I was also required to teach a few close coworkers English on a daily basis.
I was especially interested in cultural interactions and a change of pace before I left. We were able to take advantage of Thailand's relatively low cost of living and frequently travel throughout the nation. Additionally, learning about the traditions and various ways of life in this nation was really enriching.

First of all, I got the chance to learn new abilities, especially in social media management and business development. Secondly, it added a more global direction to my CV, which is essential these days. Having worked, as a European, in a large company in Asia also gives me a broader and more relevant perspective on many things in the world of work. On a personal level, the clash of cultures is something I've always found beneficial. It gives you a better idea of where you are in the world, how things are done elsewhere and puts your personal situation into perspective.
